Mikko moved to the UK in 2019 from Seattle, Washington. In 2021, he co-founded and is the co-artistic director of Halfpace Theatre Company, an award-winning migrant-led theatre company dedicated to supporting artists of underrepresented backgrounds and creating devised theatre and new plays that highlight underrepresented voices.
