Oscar-winning actor Tom Hanks is reportedly in talks to reprise his role in hit Broadway play Lucky Guy in the West End.
The play, written by the late Nora Ephron (whose screenwriting credits include When Harry Met Sally and Sleepless in Seattle) and directed by George Wolfe, explores the life of Pulitzer Prize-winning New York tabloid columnist Mike McAlary, played by Hanks in his Broadway debut.
According to the Daily Mail‘s Baz Bamigboye: “If it does go ahead – and it’s a big if – it won’t happen until late spring 2014, for a limited season.”
One thing’s for certain though – if Hanks does come to London, it’ll be a lucky guy indeed that can bag a ticket!
