The Comedy About a Bank Robbery announces West End extension

The Comedy About a Bank Robbery will run until November 2019, it has been announced.
The production, which was created by Mischief Theatre and written by Henry Lewis, Jonathan Sayer and Henry Shields, first opened on the West End in 2016. The new booking period is until 3 November 2019.
New cast members join the show from 18 December, with Julia Frith starring as Caprice Freeboys, Liam Jeavons as Mitch Ruscitti, Jack Whittle as Sam Monaghan and Jean-Luke Worrell as Warren Slax. From 15 January 2019 Gareth Tempest (Mitch Ruscitti) returns and Emily Stott (Caprice Freeboys) completes the company.
Continuing their roles are Samson Ajewole (Cooper), Jenna Augen (Ruth Monaghan), Jack Baldwin (Officer Randal Shuck), Leonard Cook (Robin Freeboys) and Chris Leask (Everyone Else). The understudies are Ashley Tucker, Charlotte Duffy, George Hannigan, Eddy Westbury, Ross Virgo, Gracie Lai, Rhiann Francis and Kieran Mortell.
The piece is one of Mischief Theatre's hit comedy productions which also include The Play That Goes Wrong and Peter Pan Goes Wrong.
The Comedy About A Bank Robbery is set in summer 1958 where the Minneapolis City Bank has been entrusted with a priceless diamond but an escaped convict is set on stealing the gem with the help of his girlfriend. The show received critical acclaim when it opened, including a five star review from WhatsOnStage.
The show announced a UK tour in July, which continues concurrently with the West End production.
