The Imperial Ice Stars production of Sleeping Beauty on Ice is an adaptation of the world-famous romantic ballet.  The production is set to the magnificent music of the Russian composer Tchaikovsky.  The show is a creation of the fairy tale classic love story and is set in the intimacy of the theatre stage.

The technical brilliance of the 26 Imperial Ice Stars is a dramatic spectacle achieved with a cast of World, Olympic, European and National championship skaters.  Between them the performers have amassed over 250 competition medals. Olga Sharuntenko, who recently appeared in the ITV series Dancing On Ice, stars as Princess Aurora, Iuliia Odintcova presides as the black fairy Carabosse and Bogan Berezenko plays the charming Prince Desire. An expertly choreographed performance of technical brilliance comprising of flawless lifts, breath taking jumps, sensational spins and complex skating moves both mesmerize and enthrall the audience.

Lavish, delicate and stunning costumes designed by Natella Abdulaeva, one of Russia’s leading costume designers for the genre of figure skating, all add to the enchanting and magical effect. Both the costume and the set changes are seamless. The sets are atmospheric from the outset and draw the audience into a charming and magical fantasy world.

The production team includes award winning Tony Mercer as artistic director and choreographer along with producer James Cundall and music arranger Tim A. Duncan.

This UK tour is a world class performance of theatrical ice dancing. Sleeping Beauty on Ice is an exquisite and incredible show certain to enchant, mesmerise and entertain an audience of all ages. The show is a fantastic collaboration of talent and a charming production.
