Ralph Fiennes’ As You Like It with Harriet Walter, Gloria Obianyo and Dylan Moran – first look

Theatre Royal Bath has revealed additional names joining their new production of As You Like It.

Shakespeare’s pastoral comedy is directed by Ralph Fiennes as part of a trilogy of shows the Oscar-nominated actor is overseeing at the venue during the second half of the year. It follows the would-be lovers Rosalind and Orlando as they battle their way back to one another.

Harriet Walter (Succession) stars as Jaques, while Rosalind is played by Gloria Obianyo, Dylan Moran stars as Touchstone, Patrick Robinson as Duke Senior and Duke Frederick and Charlie Rowe as Orlando.

The cast also includes Sam Alexander (Le Beau/First Lord) Hannah Azuonye (Lady-In-Waiting/Lord in Arden), Matt Ray Brown (Dennis/Lord in Arden), Michael Brophy (Corin), Imogen Elliott (Phebe), Matt Gavan (Sir Oliver Martext), Amber Grappy (Audrey), Emilio Iannucci (Jaques de Boys), Amber James (Celia), Paul Jesson (Adam), Nitai Levi (Amiens), Jake Neads (Oliver), Richard Pryal (Charles/William/Lord in Arden) and Ethan Thomas (Silvius).

Further casting and the creative team are to be revealed. The show will run from 15 August to 6 September.

The venue’s Ralph Fiennes season also features David Hare’s Grace Pervades, co-starring Miranda Raison. Further casting for that production has also been revealed – including Sharif Afifi, Saskia Strallen and Jordan Metcalfe. The final show will be a new play by Rebecca Lenkiewicz – Small Hotel. Get further details here.
