Welcome back to another episode of Don’t Bump Into the Furniture – an irreverent insider look at the world of theatre hosted by actors Oliver Jackson and Sarah Moyle.

This week their guests are former CBBC presenters Daniel Clarkson and Jefferson Turner (aka Dan and Jeff), stars of the ever-popular Potted Potter, which continues its latest West End run at the Garrick Theatre until Sunday (21 April 2013).

The piece started life when Dan and Jeff originally “potted” some of the characters and creatures from Rowling’s
fantasy world for a five-minute performance commissioned by a bookshop
to launch the sixth novel in the series.

The full stage show was first seen at Edinburgh in 2006 and has since
had several sell-out London seasons and toured extensively nationally and
internationally, including a 16-week off-Broadway run earlier this year.

Directed by Richard Hurst, Potted Potter is designed by Simon Scullion with composition by Phil Innes. It’s produced by Seabright Productions.
