Vicky Featherstone’s production will open at the Duke of York’s after last year’s run at the National
Following last year's run at the National, Our Ladies of Perpetual Succour will transfer to the West End in May.
Directed by Vicky Featherstone, Billy Elliot creator Lee Hall's adaptation opened at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in 2015, with WhatsOnStage critic Matt Trueman hailing the show 'a trumpet blast for teenage girls everywhere'. It features songs by the rock band Electric Light Orchestra.
The play is based on the novel The Sopranos by Alan Warner, and tells the story of six Catholic schoolgirls who decide to spend a night on the town rather than compete in a major choir competition.
It has music by Martin Lowe, designs by Chloe Lamford, choreography by Imogen Knight, lighting by Lizzie Powell and sound by Mike Walker.
Tickets will be available via this link on 31 January
Our Ladies of Perpetual Succour will open at the Duke of York's on 15 May, with previews from 9 May.
