As it continues its West End run at the Fortune Theatre, Operation Mincemeat has introduced a fortnightly ticket lottery.
A pair of seats in the centre of the stalls and at the front of the dress circle will be available, with lottery winners able to buy these seats for £25.
For those who apply through the show website, the lucky chosen will be notified by email and have 24 hours to redeem their purchase.
The show is based on a true story of the twisted secret mission that helped win World War II. It is written and composed by David Cumming, Felix Hagan, Natasha Hodgson, and Zoë Roberts of SpitLip.
The show recently added six weeks of performances until 19 August 2023, with tickets on sale now.
The returning cast, including Cumming, Claire-Marie Hall, Hodgson, Jak Malone, Roberts, and Seán Carey are joined by Geri Allan, Christian Andrews, and Holly Sumpton for the West End run.
The musical is directed by award-nominated director Robert Hastie (Standing at the Sky’s Edge), who provided directorial support for the Riverside Studios run. The show’s choreographer Jenny Arnold (Jerry Springer: The Opera), continues in her role.
The creative team also includes Ben Stones (Sylvia) as set and costume designer, Mark Henderson (Girl From the North Country) as lighting designer, Mike Walker (Jerry Springer: The Opera) as sound designer, Grammy Award-winning and Tony, Emmy, Olivier award-nominated Steve Sidwell (Beautiful: The Musical) as orchestrator and vocal arranger, and Georgie Staight as associate director.
Operation Mincemeat won The Stage Debut award for Best Composer/Lyricist and the Off-West End award for Best Musical Production and Best Company Ensemble.
