Award-winning performers star in the show across the festive period

Exclusive: Casting has been announced for Daniel’s Husband by Michael McKeever.
The play centres on Daniel and Mitchell, a couple whose carefully constructed life is disrupted by an unforeseen crisis. It will receive its UK premiere at the Marylebone Theatre this winter, running from 4 December 2025 to 10 January 2026.
First staged in 2015 at Island City Stage in Wilton Manors, Daniel’s Husband went on to win three Carbonell Awards, including Best New Work. It was later produced at New York’s Cherry Lane Theatre in 2017, where it was nominated for an Off-Broadway Alliance Award, before transferring to the Westside Theatre the following year. The play has since been produced in various locations across the US and internationally.
Alan Souza will direct David Bedella, Luke Fetherston, Raiko Gohara, Joel Harper-Jackson, and Liza Sadovy as Barry, Mitchell, Trip, Daniel, and Lydia, respectively.
The creative team for the London production includes Justin Williams (set and costume design), Jamie Platt (lighting design), Sarah Weltman (sound design), and Arthur Carrington (casting). Steph Pyne Design handles artwork.
The production marks the first London outing from Plastered Productions LTD.
