Nominees revealed for Go Live Theatre’s Best Child Performance Award at the WhatsOnStage Awards

The nominees for the newly introduced Best Child Performance category at the WhatsOnStage Awards have been revealed.

Created in association with and chosen by the awards’ official charity partner Go Live Theatre, the awards recognise young talent that has been playing on stages across the UK over the past year.

Go Live Theatre works to widen access to theatre for children and young people who may face financial, social or physical barriers. They run subsidised trips to West End productions for schools and families, delivers education matinees for state school pupils and leads creative learning projects in schools and community settings. It also offers workshops, summer programmes and theatre-making initiatives designed to support confidence, communication and teamwork.

The nominees for this year are:

Paddington The Musical – Savoy Theatre
  • Jonathan Brown: Joseph Bramley, Leo Collon, Stevie Hare, Jasper Rowse
Evita – The London Palladium
  • The Child: Auora Breslin, Lois Haidar, Ffion Rosalie Williams
Wild Rose – Royal Lyceum Theatre, Edinburgh
  • Wynonna: Lily Ferguson, Jessie-Lou Harvie, Ayla Sherriff
The Land of the Living – National Theatre
  • Young Thomas: Platon Filatov, Darcy Tosun, Artie Wilkinson-Hunt, Anton Vehring
13 Going on 30 the Musical – Manchester Opera House
  • Young Jenna Rink:  Amelia Minto and Fearne Lily King I’anson
  • Young Matt Flamhaff:  Max Bispham and George Hamblin

The winner will be revealed in a special video presentation at this year’s WhatsOnStage Awards on 8 March 2026.
