Full casting has been announced for the premiere production of Nina Raine's Stories, which opens at the National Theatre in October.

Joining the previously announced Claudie Blakley will be Stephen Boxer (Macbeth, NT), Beau Gadsdon (Rogue One), Thusitha Jayasundera (Doctor Foster), Margot Leicester (King Charles III), Molly Simm (Collateral), Katie Simons (Fanny and Alexander), Sam Troughton (Beginning) and Brian Vernel (Instructions for Correct Assembly).

After the success of her play Consent – which transferred into the West End after its debut at the Dorfman in 2017 – Raine's new play follows 39 year-old single mum Anna (Blakley).

Raine – whose other writing credits include Tribes, Tiger Country and Rabbit – directs the piece which will have design by Jeremy Herbert, lighting design by Bruno Poet, and music and sound by Alex Baranowski.
