The Menier Chocolate Factory has announced a new revival of Alan Ayckbourn's award-winning play Communicating Doors.

Running from 7 May to 27 June, the production will be directed by Lindsay Posner, whose recent West End credits include Speed-the-Plow and Noises Off.

The 1994 play sees hired dominatrix flee for her life through a hotel communicating door only to find herself 20 years in the past.

Communicating Doors won Ayckbourn the Writers' Guild of Great Britain Best West End Play Award as well as the Molière Award in France.

Casting for the Menier production will be announced shortly. Tickets go on sale from 23 March.
