Mark Gatiss, Ed Westwick and Richard E Grant attend Great Britain opening night

The West End transfer of Great Britain opened at the Theatre Royal Haymarket on Friday with guests including Richard E Grant, Game of Thrones Kit Harington and Gossip Girl heartthrob Ed Westwick in attendance.

Richard Bean's satire, which premiered at the National Theatre last month, takes a wide-ranging swipe at the press, police and political establishment in the wake of the phone-hacking scandal.
