The event takes place later next month
A new one-night musical theatre concert, Guts + Glitter, will take place at the Clapham Grand on Sunday 31 August.
The event, created by Patrick Lewin, aims to raise funds for LGBTQIA+ youth charities akt, Not A Phase and Just Like Us.
The concert will be hosted by West End drag performer Tiana Biscuit and will feature Emily Benjamin, Allie Daniel, Erin Caldwell, WhatsOnStage Award-winner Jeevan Braich , Jaz Terry (Little Shop of Horrors, & Juliet) and Robin Simões da Silva (Book of Mormon, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory). Further names will be confirmed.
Guts + Glitter will present solo, duet and ensemble numbers drawn from musicals with queer narratives, songs by queer composers and material reimagined from a queer perspective.
Concession rates and Pay It Forward tickets will be available for asylum seekers, low-income individuals and LGBTQIA+ audience members.
Tickets are on sale via the Clapham Grand website. The event is recommended for ages 14 and over due to strong language.
