Lin-Manuel Miranda has released a music video for one of the songs from his Hamilton Mixtape album.
"Immigrants (We Get the Job Done)" was originally on the 2016 album and is inspired by the lyric "We Get the Job Done" from Lin-Manuel's Hamilton track "Yorktown (The World Turned Upside Down)" – sung in the show by the cast towards the end of act one.
Hamilton Mixtape brought together remixes of the original songs by artists such as The Roots, Usher, Sia, Kelly Clarkson, Alicia Keys, John Legend and Chance the Rapper.
"Immigrants" is performed by K'naan, Snow Tha Product, Residente and Riz MC (British actor and rapper Riz Ahmed).
Miranda is credited as an executive producer on the video alongside the filmmaker Robert Rodriguez, Kimberly Stuckwisch and Ian Blair. The film is directed by Tomas Whitmore.
Earlier this month, full casting was announced for the West End production of Hamilton.
Hamilton opens at the Victoria Palace on 7 December, with previews from 21 November 2017.
