Les Miserables and Book of Mormon announce extensions

Les Miserables has announced its latest booking extension and will be selling tickets up until at least 26 September 2015.

The show is the longest running musical in the West End, closely followed by The Phantom of the Opera.

The current cast includes Peter Lockyer (Jean Valjean), David Thaxton (Javert), Emilie Fleming (Cosette), Rob Houchen (Marius), Carrie Hope Fletcher (Eponine), Celinde Schoenmaker (Fantine), Tom Edden (Thenardier), Wendy Ferguson (Madame Thenardier) and Michael Colbourne (Enjolras).

One of the West End's more recent hits, The Book of Mormon, has also announced an extension.

The WhatsOnStage Award-winning show, which received its West End premiere last March, comes from South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone and Avenue Q co-creator Robert Lopez.

It follows a pair of Mormon boys sent on a mission to a place that's a long way from Salt Lake City.

The cast currently features Billy Harrigan Tighe as Elder Price with AJ Holmes as Elder Cunningham.

The rest of the cast includes Alexia Khadime, Stephen Ashfield, Kevin Harvey, Hugo Harold Harrison and Chris Jarman with Mark Anderson, Benjamin Brook, Daniel Clift, Christopher Copeland, Ashley Day, Keisha T Fraser, Patrick George, Nadine Higgin, Evan James, Aisha Jawando, Michael Kent, Sia Kiwa, Joshua Liburd, Daniel MacKinlay, David McMullan, Felix Mosse, Tanya Nicole-Edwards, Terel Nugent, David O'Reilly, Lucy St. Louis, Ashley Samuels, Rhys Taylor, Kayi Ushe, Michael Vinsen and Tosh Wanogho-Maud.

The Book of Mormon is now booking to 7 February 2015.
