In aid of a different type of theatre!

A star-studded evening will be held in London in aid of the Theatre Friends of David Nott Foundation.
Returning to the Almeida Theatre for its second year, Judi Dench will again lead a team of actors interviewing each other about their experiences in life and the theatre.
The event, titled Doctor Theatre 2, supports the humanitarian charity dedicated to training doctors in countries impacted by war and catastrophe. Dench will be joined by surgeon David Nott to share stories about their time in two different types of theatres. Other stars taking part are Jim Carter, who will also conduct an auction, Toby Jones, Siân Phillips, Michael Sheen, Harriet Walter and Samuel West.
Doctor Theatre 2 will take place at the Almeida Theatre at 7pm on Sunday, 28 September. All proceeds will go directly to the David Nott Foundation. Due to the nature of the interview-style event, the production promises that restricted-view tickets “will give better sightlines than they would for a normal production.”
Tickets are available now, with an option to donate if you are unable to attend.
