Richmond Theatre has announced Helen George, Charlie Stemp and Basil Brush for this year’s pantomime Cinderella, which will run from 6 December 2025 to 4 January 2026.

George, known for playing Nurse Trixie Franklin in Call The Midwife, will make her pantomime debut as the Fairy Godmother. Stemp will play Buttons and Basil Brush will appear as Baron Basil.

He first appeared on television in 1963 and remains known for his catchphrase “Boom! Boom!” and The Basil Brush Show. Brush has been a pantomime regular for many years since.

George said today: “I’m so excited to be making my panto debut as the Fairy Godmother in Cinderella. I’ve always loved the magic of panto – I can’t wait for my children to see me on stage, and what better place than Richmond to do it!”

Cinderella is produced by Crossroads Pantomimes, with tickets on sale now.
