The award-winning play will appear at a variety of venues

Mark Rosenblatt’s Olivier Award-winning drama Giant, starring John Lithgow, will receive an international cinema release.
Showings are set to take place in 900 cinemas in 18 different countries around the world, including the UK, USA, Canada, and Australia. The official release date is 19 November, 2026.
Set in the summer of 1983, just before the release of The Witches, Giant imagines a tense meeting between Roald Dahl and his American and British publishers as they scramble to contain the fallout from his public denunciation of Israel and defence of the Palestinians in a review of a book on the 1982 Lebanon war.
Giant is currently running on Broadway following sold out runs at the Royal Court Theatre and in London’s West End, where it was filmed at the Harold Pinter Theatre.
The screen cast will be made up of Lithgow as Dahl, Olivier winner Elliot Levey, Tony nominee Aya Cash, Rachael Stirling, Tessa Bonham Jones, and Richard Hope. It is directed by Nicholas Hytner.
Lithgow, Cash, Hytner, and Rosenblatt are currently nominated for Tony Awards.
