The Grönholm Method had its UK premiere at the Menier Chocolate Factory last night, with guests joining the four-strong cast of Greg McHugh, Laura Pitt-Pulford, Jonathan Cake and John Gordon Sinclair to celebrate the evening.

Jordi Calceran's 2003 piece, translated by Anne Garcia-Romero and Mark St Germain, follows four job interview candidates trying to psych one another out as they vie for a single position.

In his review of the show for WhatsOnStage, Matt Trueman said the text "amply – prophetically – demonstrates how destabilising our post-spin, post-truth world can be."

Making his UK directorial debut, BT McNicholl directs the production, which has set and costume design by Tim Hatley, lighting design by Howard Harrison and sound design by Gregory Clarke.
