First look at Broadway's School of Rock

Photos from the first preview of School of Rock – The Musical on Broadway have been released.

Broadway cast members met original cast members from the 2003 film at New York's Winter Garden Theatre last night.

School of Rock – The Musical is based on the film of the same name which originally starred Jack Black and follows a failed, wannabe rock star trying to earn some extra money by posing as a substitute teacher.

Andrew Lloyd Webber, the show's creator, was in attendance along with Maryam Hassan who played the role of Tomika in the film and Becca Brown who played the role of Katie.

School of Rock – The Musical is currently running at the Winter Garden Theatre.
