Girls is returning north of the border in August and September with dates in Glasgow, Aberdeen, Inverness and
Edinburgh.

Girls will tour to Glasgow’s
Theatre Royal Mon 16 – Sat 28 August,
His Majesty’s Theatre in Aberdeen from 30 August to 04 September, Eden Court in
Inverness from 06 to 11 September, and Edinburgh’s
King’s Theatre from 13 to 25 September 2010.
The show is adapted by Tim
Firth from his screenplay to the 2003 film. Based on an inspiring true story, the plot follows group of ordinary
women who do something extraordinary and spark a global phenomenon when they
persuade one another to pose for a charity calendar with a difference.
The production is directed by Hamish McColl, designed by Robert Jones, with
lighting by Malcolm Rippeth, costumes by Emma Williams, and music by Steve
Parry. It is produced by David Pugh and Dafydd Rogers with Chichester
Festival Theatre.
