Marianne Elliott’s award-winning production will now run at the Gielgud until June
The Olivier and Tony Award winning production The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time has announced it will extend its booking at the Gielgud Theatre until 18 June 2016.
Originally booking until February 2016, the production has now released over 135,000 tickets with an extra half term matinee on Tuesday 27 October 2015.
Adapted by Simon Stephens from Mark Haddon‘s best-selling book, Curious Incident started life at the National Theatre’s Cottesloe Theatre in 2012 before transferring to the West End in 2013, first to the Apollo Theatre and then to the Gielgud Theatre.
The cast currently includes Sion Daniel Young as Christopher Boone with Rebecca Lacey as Siobhan, Nicolas Tennant as Ed and Indra Ové as Mrs Shears.
Directed by Marianne Elliott, the production is also currently touring the UK and Ireland until 21 November.
