Jen Silverman's Collective Rage: A Play in Five Betties opened this week at Southwark Playhouse, so we chatted to some of the cast as well as the stars in the audience.

Set in present day New York, Silverman's piece explores the lives of five Betties as they discover their identities, their artistic voices and the things that cause them the most rage. The show's cast is made up of Sara Stewart, Lucy McCormick, Beatriz Romily, Johnnie Fiori and Genesis Lynea.

Those present on the night included Janie Dee, Patricia Hodge, Niamh Cusack and Tanya Moodie who described the piece as a 'recipe book to to smash the patriarchy.'

Collective Rage runs at Southwark Playhouse until 17 February.
