Cirque du Soleil has confirmed the return of OVO, running at the Royal Albert Hall in London from January.

The production, last performed at the venue in 2018, promises a reimagined set design alongside new characters, music and acrobatic acts to recreate the insect world. It boasts 53 performers and musicians, including Hammersmith-born Robin Bear in the role of The Voyager, under artistic director Lydia Harper, originally from Warwick.

Created in 2009, OVO tells the love story of a quirky fly and a spirited ladybug, centering around a mysterious egg that sparks curiosity and transformation. It has been seen by over seven million people in more than 40 countries.

The production is scheduled for a limited four-week run from 9 January to 1 February 2026, with tickets going on general sale, this Friday, 18 July.
