Simon Block’s 1995 play will be revived in June
Veteran entertainer Bobby Davro will star as a ping pong-playing London cab driver in a revival of Simon Block's play Not A Game for Boys at the King's Head in June.
First performed at the Royal Court in 1995, the comedy drama features a trio of cabbies seeking solace from their daily lives competing in a local table tennis league.
Davro, whose TV credits include Bobby Davro on the Box and EastEnders, will be joined in the cast by Alan Drake and Olivier Joel, with direction by Jason Lawson (Kissing Sid James).
Not A Game for Boys runs at the King's Head Theatre from 10 June to 5 July.
