Belinda Lang, Lydia Leonard and Clive Rowe join Chichester Festival Theatre company

Full casting has been announced for The Country Wife and The Meeting

Further casting has been announced for Chichester Festival Theatre's productions of The Country Wife, The Meeting and Me and My Girl.

Completing the cast of William Wycherley's Restoration comedy The Country Wife and joining the previously announced Susannah Fielding, is Lex Shrapnel (Henry IV, RSC) as Horner, Jo Herbert as Alithea, John Hodgkinson as Pinchwife, Belinda Lang as Lady Fidget and Ashley Zhangazha as Harcourt. The cast will also feature Michael Elwyn, Tom Kanji, Scott Karim, Harry Lawtey, Natasha Magigi, Jack North, Charlotte Mills and Robin Weaver. The piece is directed by Jonathan Munby and runs in the Minerva Theatre from 8 June to 7 July.

This will be followed by Charlotte Jones' new play, The Meeting (13 July to 11 August). Directed by Natalie Abrahami, the cast will feature Gerald Kyd (Three Winters, NT), Lydia Leonard (Oslo, NT), Jean St Clair (Children of a Lesser God, West End), Leona Allen, Laurie Davidson, Jim Findley and Maggie Service.

Also announced today, Clive Rowe (Guys and Dolls) will play Sir John Tremayne in Me and My Girl. He joins the previously announced Matt Lucas, Caroline Quentin and Alex Young in the production, directed by Daniel Evans and running in the Festival Theatre from 2 July to 25 August.
