Atomic Kitten sensation and West End star Natasha Hamilton will feature alongside Superstar runner up Rory Taylor in the Rent 20th Anniversary Concert.
The celebratory production toured the UK in April, and due to rave reviews is returning for a second run.
Taking over from Kerry Ellis as Mimi is Rachel John, with other performers including Paul Ayres (Mark), Hannah Levene (Joanne), and Ian Stroughair (Angel).
Hamilton said: “I love Rent so I am made up to be playing the role of Maureen! She’s a great character a little bit cheeky, flirtatious and injects some real comedy moments into the show.”
And Taylor said: “I had the most amazing time on tour with Rent 20th Anniversary Concert in April and I am so excited that the public want more! I can’t wait to get back on the road and play the role of Roger again.”
A film of the musical was released in 2005 starring original Broadway cast members Idina Menzel and Adam Pascal.
Its songs include “Seasons of Love”, “Out Tonight”, “Without You”, “Will I” and “Finale B.”
Rent 20th Anniversary Concert will be at Manchester Palace Theatre on 29 November and the Liverpool Echo Arena on 30 November
