Arlene Phillips and Derek Jacobi to receive special Olivier Awards

The Oliviers will recognise two individuals with unique awards this year.

Arlene Phillips, who recently picked up a WhatsOnStage Award for her work on Grease (which will return later this year to the Dominion Theatre) will receive the ‘Special Award’. Phillips is currently in rehearsals for the new immersive production of Guys and Dolls with other credits including Starlight Express and Saturday Night Fever.

Derek Jacobi, one of the founding members of the National Theatre and household name for his work across stage and screen, will receive the Lifetime Achievement award.

The Olivier Awards will take place on Sunday 2 April at the Royal Albert Hall, hosted by Hannah Waddingham. The full list of nominees will be announced on February 28 at 2pm – so keep your eyes peeled on our social channels for more!
