The show will be making its UK debut at the Watermill Theatre this week, starring Audrey Brisson as Amélie.

The piece is based on the Oscar-nominated film and tells of Amélie Poulain, a Parisian woman who improvises small acts of kindness and falls for a strange man.

The new production is being directed by Michael Fentiman and will run at the Watermill until 18 May before heading out on tour.

Designs for the show are by Madeleine Girling, choreography by Tom Jackson Greaves, orchestrations and arrangements by Barnaby Race, musical supervision and direction by George Francis, lighting design by Elliot Griggs and sound design by Tom Marshall.
