Alice in Wonderland will play in London this Easter.
The kaleidoscopic classic, involving a young girl who falls into a rabbit hole of surreality and intrigue, is directed and designed by Nate Bertone.
Penny Farrow’s adaptation of the Lewis Caroll favourite was seen last summer at the Marylebone Theatre. It is suitable for audiences aged five and over and has a running time of one hour.
Using original music and puppetry to bring Carroll’s characters and Alice’s caper to life, the production was first seen in Australia in 2016 and has played to 100,000 audience members since its inception.
Many of the original UK cast will return to the production for its new run, including Charlotte Bradley (The Unfriend) as Alice, Clare Brice (Wicked: For Good) as White Rabbit, and Daniel Page (Ushers: The Front of House Musical) as the Queen of Hearts. They’re joined by Eddie Ahrens, Honey Gabriel, Skye Hallam, Elliot Liburd, and Sophie Wilkinson.
It is produced by DEM Productions, Ethan Walker and Bertone. Further creative team is to be confirmed.
Alice in Wonderland runs at Riverside Studios from 27 March to 12 April, with tickets on sale now.
