Guests came to the Piccadilly Theatre last night to see The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time as it returns to the West End.

Simon Stephens' adaptation of Mark Haddon's novel, which picked up all manner of awards when it first opened at the National Theatre, is directed by Marianne Elliott and stars Joshua Jenkins as Christopher.

Names including Arlene Phillips, Esther Rantzen, Jeremy Vine and Steve Pemberton all came to see the show on its guest night.

Curious Incident follows a young boy who sets out on a detective mission to work out who killed his neighbour's dog. The production is designed by Bunny Christie, with lighting designer Paule Constable, and video design by Finn Ross. Movement is by Scott Graham and Steven Hoggett for Frantic Assembly, music by Adrian Sutton and sound by Ian Dickinson for Autograph.
