Henny Finch has been announced as the Donmar Warehouse' new executive producer.

Finch will replace Kate Pakenham, who stood down from the position in June this year.

She joins Michael Longhurst, who was appointed the theatre's artistic director following the departure of Josie Rourke. Finch has been executive director of Hofesh Shechter Company since May 2016 and her career includes previous roles at Oxford Stage Company (now Headlong), where she produced productions such as Enron,  Chimerica,  People, Places & Things and 1984.

Longhurst said of her appointment: "I am so delighted that Henny will be joining us as Executive Producer. I was blown away by her dynamic approach and cannot wait to start working with her to deliver the future work of the Donmar."

Finch commented: "I am a long-time admirer of Mike's bold and beautiful work, and I can't wait to join him at the Donmar as this small but mighty theatre embarks on its next adventure."
