Dream Casting: Cinderella at the London Palladium
Last week producers announced that pantomime will return to the London Palladium this year for the first time in almost 30 years.
With rumours flying around about casting already (Britney Spears anyone?), we thought we'd have a stab at our dream Cinders cast.

Cinderella – Amy Lennox
Our Cinders would have a bit more sass than the downtrodden Disney original, and we literally can't think of anyone with more sauce than Kinky Boots star Lennox.
Prince Charming – Paapa Essiedu
Can he sing? We're not sure (If not, then Mr Xavier gets it). But he's definitely one of the most charming guys we've interviewed this year.
Wicked Stepmother – Sheila Hancock
It's hard to cast this role and not offend the recipient, but we think Grey Gardens star and stage veteran would be perfect as Cinderella's evil step-mother.
Anastasia & Drizella – Scarlett and Summer Strallen
It would be a push for these two lovely stagey sisters to be mean, but no casting is complete without at least one Strallen.
Fairy Godmother – Dame Angela Lansbury
If we were ever in need of a Fairy Godmother to save the day we sure hope she'd come in the form of legend Lansbury.
