British theatre stars celebrate 2015 Drama Desk nominations

Helen Mirren, Ben Miles and more were on hand to meet the press and receive their certificates

Nominees for the 60th annual Drama Desk Awards, including Brits Helen Mirren and Ben Miles, attended the Drama Desk nominee reception in New York yesterday.

They joined the likes of Matthew Morrison (Finding Neverland), Lin-Manuel Miranda (Hamilton) and Kristin Chenoweth (On the Twentieth Century) to pick up their certificates and mingle with the best and brightest of New York theatre.

The Drama Desk Awards honour excellence in all areas of New York theatre, including Broadway, off-Broadway, off-off-Broadway, and not-for-profit theatre.

The awards will be presented during a ceremony hosted by Laura Benanti on 31 May.
