Afterglow at Southwark Playhouse: watch the show in rehearsals
The cult New York hit play has its UK premiere
Raunchy New York play Afterglow comes to Southwark Playhouse for its UK premiere, with the cast currently in rehearsals.
S Asher Gelman's play, which will be directed by Tom O'Brien, follows what happens when Josh and Alex, a married couple in an open relationship, invite a third person, Darius, to share their bed one night.
The show originally opened at the Davenport Theater and ran for 14 months, grossing over $1 million in the 69-seat theatre.
The piece stars Jesse Fox, Sean Hart and Danny Mahoney, with design by Libby Todd, sound by David Gregory, movement by Lee Crowley and casting by Anne Vosser.
Afterglow will open in previews on 5 June and run to 20 July, with a press night on 11 June. Tickets for the show are on sale now.
