The smash West End musical hit Ghost the Musical is based on the Oscar winning movie, starring Patrick Swayze and Whoopi Goldberg, that captured the hearts and imaginations of a generation, back in the 90s.

After being murdered and trapped as a ghost between this world and the next, Sam (Stewart Clarke) attempts to protect girlfriend Molly (Rebecca Trehearn) from danger by trying to communicate with her through phoney psychic Oda Mae Brown (Wendy Mae Brown).

This dazzling show is a harmless fantasy about the power of love. It's a rollercoaster of comedy and romance that keeps us laughing, gasping and holding back tears throughout.

The chemistry between Clarke and Trehearn is tangible and adds real heart to the story. And if Trehearn struggles with a few notes during a solo in the first act, it is soon forgotten when she goes on to give a fantastic performance.

But it is Brown's stand out performance that enraptures the audience. Her larger-than-life character is brilliantly funny, as she treats us to her repertoire of comedy acting complete with a variety of voices that have us rolling in our seats. She is truly amazing!

Directed by Tony award winning, Mathew Warchus, Ghost has music and lyrics by musical legends Dave Stewart and Glen Ballard and features the iconic Righteous Brothers hit "Unchained Melody".

The beguiling, gasp-inducing visuals are seamless and inventive, with special effects that make this show out of this world.
