Street dance troupe Diversity first hit the scene back in 2009 when the nation was introduced to their skill on Britain’s Got Talent. After a surprising win over bookies favourite Susan Boyle in the live final, Diversity have grown from strength to strength.

Now back with their biggest arena tour to date, the 11 man dance troupe are now showing Britain just what they can do and what they have achieved.

Choreographed by lead man, Ashley Banjo, the show follows the dance crew in a computer video game, trying to crack Da Vinci’s code through various levels. They proved from the beginning of the show why these guys are so popular. Throughout the show their timing as a group was impeccable and the audience were wowed by their constant flips and tricks.

The audience really came to life when Diversity danced to well known songs, such as the Motown section, getting up off their seats and singing along- something they could have done more throughout the show. Very cleverly choreographed, the show also shows some comedy throughout which made the show more enjoyable to watch, such as the Zumba section where Perri takes centre stage.

With a basic set design, a few outfit changes and strong lighting, this is all that is needed to let Diversity show the audience their dance talents. The group are accompanied by acrobats and backing dancers but all eyes are on the main act.

The show did appear to last longer than was needed however, with the audience left watching a VT on a large screen for a prolonged time.

As an added extra the show came to an end teaching the audience how to dance, which really proved to us all that Diversity have got talent!
