Felicity Kendal will star in William Boyd's The Argument at Theatre Royal Bath this summer.

Kendal, best known for her role in The Good Life, will return to Bath to star in Boyd's piece which charts a series of arguments between married couple Pip and Meredith as well as their immediate family and friends.

The production will be directed by Christopher Luscombe with creative team and further casting to be announced. The Argument will run in the Theatre Royal's main house from 7 to 24 August.

It follows on from other production in the venue's summer season including a revival of Noël Coward's Blithe Spirit starring Jennifer Saunders and a production of Uncle Vanya, adapted by David Hare.
