A Disney concert which celebrates 20 years of musical productions will receive its European premiere at the Royal Albert Hall in October.

Disney's Broadway Hits will feature songs from shows including The Lion King, The Little Mermaid and Mary Poppins.

The line up for the event includes the West End cast of Aladdin, as well as the show's composer and Oscar winner Alan Menken.

Keith Lockhart will conduct the BBC Concert Orchestra, with further casting to be announced.

Disney's first musical production was Beauty and the Beast, which opened on Broadway in 1994. In September 2014, The Lion King overtook The Phantom of the Opera as the highest grossing theatre production.

Last month, WhatsOnStage gave Disney's newest musical production Aladdin four stars.

Disney's Broadway Hits will be performed at the Royal Albert Hall on 23 October.
