1st Night Photos: Absolutely Fabulous Party at Haymarket
Trevor Nunn‘s final production as artistic director of the Theatre Royal Haymarket opened last night (15 November 2011, previews from 5 November), a revival of
James Goldman’s 1966 play The Lion in Winter,
starring Robert Lindsay as Henry II and Joanna Lumley as Eleanor of
Aquitane.
Among those turning out in support last night were Cilla Black and Richard Wilson, as well as Lumley’s Absolutely Fabulous co-star Jennifer Saunders.
The Lion in Winter will play a limited season to 28 January 2012.
