1st Night Photos: Gless is Round-Heeled Woman
Jane Prowse‘s stage adaptation of Jane Juska’s A Round-Heeled Woman received its European premiere last night (19 October) at Riverside Studios, where it continues until 20 November.
Juska’s autobiographical book describes her sexual adventures at the age of 67. After placing an ad in the New York Review of Books, Jane (played on stage by Sharon Gless) received 63 replies from men aged between 32 and 84, resulting in a collection of stories of love, heartbreak, and rejection.
Juska, Gless and co-stars Jane Bertish and Beth Cordingly posed for some backstage photos after opening night.
