Wannabes Wanted for Spice Girls Musical???
Following hot on the heels of Take That musical Never Forget, the Spice Girls could be set to bring their own story to the stage, according a report in The Mirror last week.
‘Ginger spice’ Geri Halliwell apparently wants to produce the musical, which would be based on the chart-topping group’s rise to fame. The Mirror claims that her former bandmates are keen on the idea; their recent meetings to discuss it have also sparked rumours that the group are planning another reunion tour.
According to a source, “The project is Geri’s baby really but all the girls are backing it … The idea is for five relatively unknown actresses to take the parts and hopefully the girls will each have a say in who is cast.”
