1st Night Photos: Birthday celebrations at Royal Court
Joe Penhall’s new play Birthday – which sees the role of mother and father reversed in dramatic fashion – premiered at the Royal Court last night (28 June 2012, previews from 22 June).
Penhall and director Roger Michell were joined at the aftershow by cast members Stephen Mangan, Lisa Dillon, Llewella Gideon and Louise Brealey.
Also enjoying the celebrations were Royal Court alumni Anna Maxwell Martin, Nigel Lindsay, Fenella Woolgar, Adrian Lester, Mark Strong and Mangan’s Episodes co-star Tamsin Greig, as well as director Rupert Goold and playwright Simon Stephens.
Birthday continues at the Royal Court until 4 August 2012.
