Taylor-Mills directs European premieres of Bare & Three Little Pigs

Two major musicals will receive their European premieres at Off-West End venues next month care of Whatsonstage.com Award-nominated producer/director Paul Taylor-Mills.

First up, Stiles and Drewe’s musical adaptation of The Three Little Pigs runs at Greenwich Theatre from 4 to 6 April 2013.

Directed by Taylor-Mills, whose previous credits include Steel Pier (Union) and Rent (Greenwich), the family musical retells the adventure of the three little pigs as they tackle the big bad wolf.

Stiles and Drewe’s previous credits include Honk!, Just So, Mary Poppins, Betty Blue Eyes and Soho Cinders.

Next, from 24 April to 25 May, contemporary rock musical Bare, which premiered Off-Broadway in 2004, runs at the Union in Southwark.

The show, which features music by Damon Intrabartolo and book and lyrics by Jon Hartmere, follows a group of teens wrestling with issues of sexuality and religion in a Catholic boarding school.

Bare, which is co-produced by Kylie Vilcins, reunites the creative team behind the Whatsonstage.com Award-nominated Steel Pier, including Taylor-Mills, choreographer Racky Plews, musical director Huw Evans and designer David Shields.

According to press material, “Bare has thrilled and moved audiences around the world since its first staging in Los Angeles over a decade ago.”
