The play, which premiered at the Court in 2010, explores themes of class, power, privilege and the influence of ‘old money’ via an elite student dining society at Oxford who are bunkering down for a wild night of debauchery and decadence.
A member of the Whatsonstage.com Discussion Board indicated a belated transfer has been "confirmed" for May-August, and that its likely destination will be the Duke of York's (where Zach Braff's All New People finishes its run on 28 April). The Royal Court have not yet confirmed this.
Directed by Lyndsey Turner, the original cast featured Leo Bill, Jolyon Coy, David Dawson, Richard Goulding, Harry Hadden-Paton, Kit Harington, Henry Lloyd-Hughes, Joshua Mcguire, Tom
Mison and James Norton as the ten members of the fictional Riot Club, as
well as Charlotte Lucas, Fiona Button, Daniel Ryan and Simon Shepherd.
