1st Night Photos: Rourke’s new Recruits party at Donmar
Love was definitely in the air at the Donmar Warehouse last night as Josie Rourke made her debut as artistic director of the venue with a revival of George Farquhar’s classic Restoration comedy The Recruiting Officer.
Nancy Carroll, Mackenzie Crook, Tobias Menzies and Mark Gatiss star in the production, alongside Rachael Stirling, Gawn Grainger, Nicholas Burns, Kathryn Drysdale and Aimee-Ffion Edwards.
They were supported by first night guests including Donmar chair Chris Smith, actors Zoe Wanamaker and Ralf Little and playwright Jez Butterworth.
