Landor Celebrates 15 Years with Into the Woods

This September Clapham’s favourite pub theatre reaches the
grand old age of 15 and will be celebrating with a revival of the first ever
musical to be produced at the venue, Into the Woods. The
classic Stephen Sondheim show, which runs from 17 September to 17 October, will
be directed by the Landor’s artistic director Robert McWhir.

The full cast has yet to be announced, but will include Lori
Haley Fox, who will be taking a sabbatical from the role of Rosie in
Mamma Mia! on Broadway to play the Witch. Also joining the
cast is Leo Andrew, who will play the Baker. Into the Woods
will be Andrew’s third show at the Landor, following his performance of Ben
Stone in the venue’s critically acclaimed production of
Follies in 2006, also directed by McWhir.

McWhir has been artistic director at the theatre since 2001.
Last year his production of I Love You Because was awarded
the Whatsonstage Theatregoers’ Choice Award for Best Off-West End
Production.
