Warwick Davis and Tam Ryan join Presley's Snow White in Manchester

Panto regulars Warwick Davis & Tam Ryan are set to star in ”Snow White” at the Manchester Opera House.

Film and television star Warwick Davis and panto favourite Tam Ryan will be joining Priscilla Presley in this year’s Manchester Opera House pantomime – Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.

Warwick says: "I am delighted to be appearing with Priscilla Presley in Snow White at the Manchester Opera House this Christmas. I am looking forward to working with the theatre, the cast and crew to bring you the best panto Manchester has ever seen. It’s a ‘tall order’ but I’m determined it won’t fall ‘short’ of audience expectations!

With a career spanning over three decades, Warwick is best known for his roles in Willow, Star Wars, the Harry Potter films and most recently on our TV screens in Life’s Too Short, Doctor Who, An Idiot Abroad 3 and Weekend Escapes. He recently appeared at the Opera House in See How They Run, with his newly-formed Reduced Height Theatre Company.

Lancashire-based comedian, actor and singer Tam Ryan now considers Manchester as his second home after starring in the Opera House’s pantomime for the past four years. His screen credits include Mr Duggan in Emmerdale and Jury Foreman in the P.D. James adaption – Death Comes To Pemberley.Tam recently appeared at the Opera House in The Easter Funny Show, which he co-wrote and co-produced alongside actor John Thomson.

This year Tam will play Muddles and Warwick plays Prof alongside Presley, TV and film star and the wife of the King of Rock N Roll, Elvis Presley – returns to the role of the Wicked Queen, following a previous run at New Wimbledon Theatre two years ago.

The script will once again be written by Eric Potts, who played baker Diggory Compton in Coronation Street, and as well as writing pantos is one of the UK’s best loved panto dames, appearing at the Opera House regularly.

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs is at the Manchester Opera House from 5 December – 4 January.
