In pictures: Broadway stars walk the red carpet at the Tony Awards
Stars including Carole King, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Cynthia Erivo and Andrew Lloyd Webber were out in force at the Tony Awards yesterday evening.
Presented in a ceremony at the Beacon Theatre in New York City and hosted by James Corden, Miranda's Broadway hit Hamilton dominated proceedings, scooping a total of 11 awards. British actress Erivo won Best Leading Actress in a Musical for her role in The Color Purple, with the show also going on to win Best Revival of a musical.
